Join the MD ICF Chapter and Dr. Janet Anderson for an informative and engaging workshop on
Mindful Coaching and Theories of Change

 

Join us for this interactive presentation to explore key theories from psychology, adult learning and neuroscience to support better understanding of how and why people change, particularly in organizational settings. 

In this 90-minute session, participants will engage in experiential exercise and informal discussion to:    

  • Become familiar with key ideas and theories from psychology, adult learning, and neuroscience,about how and why people change;
  • Consider how individual beliefs and collective mindsets in organizations may combine to foster or undermine positive change;
  • Explore the implications of these ideas for coaching.

Speaker Bio: Janet Baldwin Anderson, Ph.D., is a leadership coach and educator who serves on the faculties of Tai Sophia Institute and Fielding Graduate University. She has extensive experience in the field of adult learning and the assessment of educational and professional accomplishment.  An ICF-certified coach, she earned her coaching credential from Georgetown University’s Center for Professional Development and recently completed advanced training in presence-based coaching through a year-long program with Doug Silsbee. Janet is a long time practitioner of yoga and Buddhist meditation, a beginning practitioner of tai chi, and an avid photographer and writer. For more information, please go to www.jbacoaching.com.
