A Message From Chapter President
Welcome to the Maryland Chapter of the International Coaching Federation (MD-ICF) website! We hope you find the information here you are looking for. If not, please email us and we will be glad to help you.
We are Maryland coaches, and persons interested in coaching, who gather on a regular basis to inspire, serve, learn and lead. Our local chapter is active on a monthly basis and in each of our gatherings we provide quality education and chances for professional connection. I hope you will consider finding your place in this vital and amazing community.
MD-ICF was formed in 2010 to meet the growing need of coaches and other business professionals throughout the state of Maryland to connect, learn, and promote the profession of coaching and leadership. We coexist with long-standing sister chapters of the ICF in Washington, DC, Philadelphia and all along the East Coast in a mutually supportive relationship.
Our values are those of the International Coaching Federation:
- Honesty, integrity, and mutual respect
- Client-driven focus
- Passionate commitment to the work we do
- Excellence derived from intellectual rigor, creativity, and practical experience Opportunities for career growth and performance rewards
This chapter supports professionals who are already certified in coaching and those who are exploring certification, or are in the process of becoming certified. We also provide networking opportunities and leadership skills for all business professionals.
Consider becoming a member of the Maryland Chapter of the International Coaching Federation to further your learning, connect with other professionals, or keep alive your passion for the power of the coaching relationship.
Chris Holmes, PCC
The Maryland Chapter of the International Coach Federation exists to promote the success of its membership, increase the skills and effectiveness of its members, and to raise the awareness of the coaching profession in the wider community. We provide a forum for members to discuss issues of professional concern and provide opportunities for collaboration in providing resources.
